Roxanne & Werner had a magical wedding celebration on a beautiful summer's day at the picturesque Belair Pavilion in Paarl Cape Town.

Their Love Story
After meeting for the first time at one of Werner's best friends' homes, he knew that he needed to intentionally pursue Roxanne.
When chatting to them about how they met, Roxanne said: "Werner saw the opportunity when I needed to tie my shoelace and he offered to go on his one knee and tie it, from there he just didn't stay away..." Not long after, he had asked her to be his girlfriend. Even though she left South Africa to work abroad 2 years into their relationship, their bond remained strong.
After 7 years of being together, the two took the step to tie the knot!
The big day preparations
One of the great things about their venue, Belair Pavilion, is that they have accommodation on their premises. The Sassmans and their wedding party arrived to the venue on the morning of their big day and were able to get ready on-site.
When the team and I arrived, we arrived to a super relaxed environment - Roxanne and her girls were getting their makeup done while Werner and his guys were hanging around in their guesthouse.
You know what they say, time flies when you're having fun! The bridal party was having such a good time getting ready... before we all knew it, it was time to get dressed!
The ceremony
The ceremony took place on the premises too, in a beautiful green-covered chapel.
Werner, unfortunately, lost his beloved mom a little while before their big day and had his mom's sister walk him down the aisle.
