As the sun dipped toward the horizon, casting golden hues over the ocean, I had the honour of capturing a truly magical wellness event—an ocean-side sound bath led by the incredible Leandra Besters followed by a sauna by Hot Huts Mobile Sauna. Nestled on Dalebrook Beach in Cape Town, this gathering was more than just a wellness session; it was an immersive experience of deep relaxation, healing, and connection with nature.

Leandra’s unique approach to sound healing involves the use of crystal singing bowls, whose ethereal tones resonate in harmony with the sea. As the bowls sang, their vibrations blended seamlessly with the natural symphony of the waves, creating a soundscape that felt almost otherworldly. Attendees lay on the soft sand, wrapped in blankets, surrendering to the resonance that flowed through them, dissolving stress and tension with every note.
